DOUBLE LAYERED SAFETY INLET HOSES FOR HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The Sx2 safety hose is a latest generation product, studied by Miflex SK engineers to offer the costumer maximum safety reducing to nil the risk of flooding due to hose leaks.
The hose is slightly bigger than the traditional hose (ext Ø 19 mm. against 16-17 mm. of the traditional hose).
Sx2 is a two layered hose, having an internal layer either made of reinforced PVC, brainded EPDM or brainded W270 approved PEX and an outer layer made of texile or Kevlar® reinforced PVC with or without braiiding, also EN61770 approved, which allows the external layer to sobstitute the function of the internal one in the remote possibility of a deterrioration of the internal hose.
This product is the World's only hose which carries a double certification, for both the inner and outer layers as both of them withstand the tests according to the EN61770 European Standard. Sx2, like all the other hoses within Miflex SK range, offer an advantageous value-for-money aspet, due to its assembly and testing being carried out on high technology automatic lines designed by miflex SK. Main characteristics: Inner hose with burst pressure up to 480 bar against the 31.5 required by the Standard.
Fitting resistance: 30 daN against the 10 required by the Standard Version Plus with patented, 360° swivel brass elbow fitting.
Standard threads: 3/4"GAS and 3/4"USA
