General outline, description and features
- Sealing ring made of Grade GTJ® GRAFOIL strip by Union Carbide reinforced with 0.1mm AISI 316 steel foil wound in a spiral and formed.
- This gasket has a density of 1.4-1.6 g/cc depending on the application and is perfectly sized to facilitate assembly. It has excellent sliding properties: friction value 0.08-0.1 with respect to steel.
- Extremely low shaft wear permanently lubricated.

Uses
- This type of gasket covers the entire range of applications for pumps and valves. It is also excellent for special applications such as in diathermic oil pumps, valves for superheated steam or fire-safe valves.
