Throughout its history, one of the fundamental pillars of the Oldrati Group has been innovation, as we believe it constitutes the driving force behind our activities. However, we are also aware that innovation cannot disregard the protection of the environment and our planet. For this reason, the Group implements an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with international standards UNI EN ISO 14001, to assess, control, and mitigate the environmental impacts resulting from project execution and activities across various locations.

Furthermore, the goal is to increasingly move towards a holistic vision, constantly seeking to improve the environmental performance of our products and activities through:

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
through an increasing supply of renewable energy, both self-produced and purchased.

Increasing attention to the entire supply chain,
with a particular focus on the supply of raw materials.

Growing commitment to refining the design of our products,
aimed at promoting ever more impactful technological innovation.

The ability to offer our customers an increasingly
extensive use of secondary raw materials within our products.

Circular Economy

The traditional “take-make-dispose” production model, based on unlimited access to resources, has led to a growing waste of materials and an exponential increase in waste. This approach, increasingly unsuitable for the current operating context, has motivated the Oldrati Group to actively commit to promoting a circular economy within its processes.

Over the years, continuous efforts have been made to find solutions for the recycling and reuse of waste materials, particularly for materials like rubber, where recycling processes have historically been limited due to the lack of a devulcanisation process. However, facing this challenge, we have developed innovative approaches that have materialised in what is now known as Ogreen.

OGREEN,
the Sustainable Secondary Raw Material

Ogreen is a established project that aims to recover and regenerate industrial polymer waste, transforming it into new raw material that enables the production of high-value-added products with a positive environmental impact. O-Green is a key element in waste reduction and the optimization of raw material usage, achieving a significant decrease in CO2 emissions, as confirmed by Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies.

This outcome not only translates into reduced environmental impact but also allows us to provide our customers with components or finished products characterized by an improved LCA. The end result is a range of “made in Oldrati” solutions that are increasingly sustainable for both our planet and our customers.
