Oldrati Group – one of the most important international groups in the production of rubber, plastic and silicone products is continuing its expansion by inaugurating its second Turkish plant. Ten years after the opening of the first Oldrati Kauçuk plant in Bursa, Oldrati has today completed the realisation of the new plant in the city of Eskisehir.
The building will employ around 60 workers and has been designed – already today – with a view to further doubling production space in the coming months.
This new production unit aims to strengthen the Oldrati Group’s presence in Turkey and Middle East. The plant is specialised in the production of technical articles in rubber, silicone and multi-component assembly activities. In particular, the production of silicone products represents a specialty that is still not particularly widespread in Turkey, for this reason Oldrati Group will be one of the first companies to carry out this type of activity, leveraging its internationally developed know-how.
“Over the last few years, we have come to know and love Turkey very well; it is a country with great development potential and entrepreneurial dynamism, both for large groups and medium-sized companies. We have chosen to double our presence in Turkey by focusing on productions and skills that are new and innovative for the Turkish competitive environment but widely established for our Group. In addition, it is situated in an area with a strong industrial vocation, with the presence of several multinational companies in the automotive, aerospace, household appliance and manufacturing sectors in general, with which we hope to build solid partnerships,’ added Giorgio Frassine, Country Manager of Oldrati Kauçuk.
