The report highlighted a structured and functional governance with a focus on environmental and social sustainability.

Oldrati Group – one of the most important international groups in the production of rubber, plastic and silicone products – shares its progress in terms of innovation, R&D, circular economy and social sustainability, publishing its first Sustainability Report.

Through a detailed report obtained thanks to the support of PwC Italia, a network operating internationally in professional services, such as auditing, consulting, legal and tax services, the document includes the Group’s performance, guidelines and achievements during 2022. The Sustainability Report is based on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria and realised in compliance with the international standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

The report highlighted a structured and functional governance with a focus on sustainability issues. The GRI indicators reported analysed the most important issues for the Oldrati Group and were identified as such through a materiality analysis. In particular, the data collection process involved a team of representatives from the various departments of the Group.

Thanks to this project, which brings together all actions focused on sustainability, it has been highlighted how Oldrati has over the years invested in innovation and the continuous research on sustainable solutions to be offered to its customers, involving not only its stakeholders but also its employees, whose attention to these represents an increasingly important aspect of the Group’s well-being.

One of the projects mentioned in the document is the innovative Ogreen, Oldrati’s first eco-sustainable rubber, a new technology which allows the production of quality technical articles from regenerated rubber. This achievement brings with it important advantages, including the reduction of virgin raw material consumption, of waste and of the use of landfills. All aimed at reducing environmental impact, as detailed in the Sustainability Report.

“From day one, I have seen a Group with a strong focus on involving all stakeholders in day-to-day activities and with a clear vision: the desire to create a sustainable future. Oldrati, thanks to Ogreen, the regenerated rubber, already years ago embarked on an important path in terms of sustainability. In addition, the focus on the community and its employees are part of the company’s DNA, which sets the company distinct from other players,” – commented Silvia Lunghi, PwC | ESG| Senior Manager.

“It’s a source of honour to share all the activities that Oldrati Group is implementing and to point out all that is being done not only financially but also ethically, which is a huge intangible value for Oldrati.

In the future we want to improve our skills, our organisation and our market position. In fact, this Sustainability Report will not be an end in itself but a dashboard for the improvement. For the moment we see it as a guide for future actions to be taken, and without any doubt as a significant step towards an ever-greener future,’ added Manuel Oldrati, CEO of Oldrati Group.
